Frequently Asked Questions

Deposits

Q: Do you take a deposit at the time of booking at the hotel?
A: We take a one-night deposit on the credit card given at the time of booking.

Q: Do you take a deposit at the time of booking a vacation rental?
A: We take a one-night deposit on the credit card at the time of booking if it is booked before 60 days. When the reservation is booked within 60 days a full payment of room and tax is taken at the time of booking.

Taxes

Q: What are the taxes I will have to pay if I book a room?
A: 12% total tax (7% sales tax + 5% occupancy tax)

  • The daily resort fee is also subject to tax


Check-In

Q: What times are check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is after 4pm. Check-out is before 11am

Q: Where do I check in?
A: Hotel guests should Check-in at the hotel's front desk in the main lobby.

Cottage guests are required to Check-in at Naples Bay Club before 9PM.
If Check-in is after 9PM guests should check in at the hotel's front desk in the main lobby.

Q: How old do I have to be to check in?
A: Minimum age of guest to check in is 21. Minors must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years old.

Q: What will you charge to my credit card at check-in?
A: We do not charge your credit card, we authorize the due balance and $100 per night for any incidental charges. For example, room service or food and beverage are charged to your room.

Q: Do you have a rewards program for the guests?
A: Yes, we are partners with Preferred Hotel Rewards program. Anyone can join for free. Please ask the front desk at check-in or join online.

Q: Can I check in early?
A: We do not guarantee early check-in, but you are more than welcome to use the facilities while you wait for your room to be ready. We can also store your luggage if needed.

Q: How late can I check out?
A: Late check-out is subject to availability and should be requested by contacting the front desk.

  • Stay until 1pm: $75
  • Stay until 5:30pm: $99


Guest Room

Q: Do you have ADA rooms available on the first floor?
A: All of our rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor, accessible by elevators. Our ADA rooms are equipped with a shower chair, grab bars, low counters, low appliances, and a limited number of rooms have a roll-in shower.

Q: Do all rooms have a washer and dryer?
A: Our one-bedroom suites, two-bedroom suites, and vacation rentals come with a washer and dryer.

Q: Is breakfast included in my room rate?
A: Our room rates do not include breakfast unless a package rate which includes breakfast was booked.

Parking

Q: Where do I park if I am staying at the hotel?
A: Parking is available near the main hotel lobby. We have a covered parking garage and a parking lot. We offer valet parking—included in the daily resort fee (limited to one vehicle per room)—and self parking.

Q: Where do I park if I am staying in one of the cottages?
A: Each cottage has its own covered parking space and an additional uncovered parking space if needed.

Q: Where can I park my trailer, boat, or RV?
A: We do not permit trailers, boats, RVs, or any commercial vehicles.

Fees

Q: What fees should I expect when booking a room at the hotel?
A: There is a daily resort fee of $37 plus tax per room, per night. The fee includes:

  • Shuttle to Beach and Downtown Naples (5th Avenue)
  • Wi-Fi
  • Local telephone calls
  • Pool towels and chairs
  • Chairs, towels and umbrellas for the beach (subject to availability/first come first serve)
  • Access to fitness center
  • Access to sauna, steam, and locker rooms
  • Business center


Q: What fees should I expect when booking a cottage?
A: There is a daily resort fee of $37 plus tax per room, per night, a one-time administrative fee of $100 and a departure cleaning fee of $160.

Cancellation Policy

Q: What are the cancellation policies?
A: Standard: 3 days prior to arrival—one-night room and tax penalty

  • December to April—7 days prior to arrival
  • (Exceptions may apply. Subject to change.)
  • Early departure fee will be applied at a minimum of one-night room and tax.

Pet Policy

Q: Is your hotel pet-friendly?
A: Yes, we are dog-friendly! There is a $75 non-refundable pet fee per room, with a maximum of two dogs (50 pound weight limit per animal). A $350 deposit will be held on a valid credit card until departure.

Q: Are the cottages pet-friendly?
A: Sorry, no pets are permitted at the cottages.

Concierge

Q: What time is the concierge available?
A: Our concierge is available daily from 10:30am to 7pm. If the concierge is not available, our front desk agents can assist with any questions.

Smoking

Q: Can I smoke in the room or anywhere in the hotel?
A: Smoking is not permitted in the hotel guest rooms, public spaces, or cottages. There are designated smoking area located around the property.

Transportation

Q: Does the hotel provide any transportation to areas nearby the hotel?
A: Yes, we do offer shuttle transportation. Please see below for more details on the destination and departure times and book your shuttle with the front desk (ext. 5108 or 5109).

Business Center

Q: Do you have a business center?
A: Yes, our business center is located in the hotel lobby.

Fitness Center

Q: Do I need to pay to access the fitness center?
A: Full access to our fitness center is included in the resort fee.

Q: What equipment is in the fitness center?
A: The fitness center features state-of-the-art strength training and cardiovascular equipment.

Q: What are the fitness center’s hours?
A: The fitness center is open daily from 6am to 9pm.

Resort Pools

Q: How many pools do you have available and where are they located?
A: We have five swimming pools and two whirlpools. The family pool, lazy river, adult pool, and adult lap pool are located at The Club. There is an additional pool located in the hotel nearby the marina.

Q: What hours are the resort pools open?
A: All resort pools are open from dusk to dawn, while the lazy river opens at 11am.

Q: Can I bring my own food or drinks to the pool?
A: No outside food, drinks, or music are permitted to be brought into the pool areas.

Room Service

Q: Do you offer room service?
A: Yes, we offer in-room dining from 8am to 10:30am daily, with a limited menu.

Restaurants

Q: What restaurants do you have at Naples Bay Resort?
A: We have three restaurants and one coffee shop at the resort.

  • 1500 South Restaurant & Bar is located at the hotel. It is open seasonally from November through May.
  • Blue Water Bar & Grill, a poolside restaurant, is located at The Club, serving lunch and dinner daily, 11am–7pm. Happy hour is daily from 4-7pm.
  • Bonefish Grill is located at the hotel, open daily for dinner.
  • Our coffee shop is located at the hotel, open daily, 7am–6pm, serving breakfast and lunch.


Q: How can I make dinner reservations for the restaurants onsite or offsite?
A: Our concierge is always available to assist with any restaurant reservations.

Google Chromecast

Q: Can I bring my own device to stream to your TVs?
A: Yes, our TVs have Google Chromecast and are enabled for streaming from your own device. For further details or questions, please refer to the instructions located in the room.
